Last month we enjoyed a trip to Osoyoos with family. It was a perfect vacation. Lots of relaxing, good food, good company and fabulous hot weather.
I was floored how blue the sky is out there. This photo is pretty much straight out of camera.
Every evening after dinner, we headed to the park with the kids. The grass was thick like a nice shag carpet and the richest green you’ve ever seen.
Noah doesn’t normally like grass, but this stuff he was rolling around in.
Mattias thought the grass was soft too.
Lucas liked the park too.
Especially the swing…
I’m loving this one of H and A and L.
Good times 🙂
Next time, we MIGHT make it out to a winery or two.
I was excited when Ang emailed me to inquire about wedding photography. First because Ang is an amazing and talented designer that owns her own graphic design business. I love shop talk. Second because it’s the first wedding booking after my maternity leave. I’m so excited for their upcoming wedding!
Ang and Jordan choose White Rock as their engagement shoot location.
The forecast was for clear skies but instead we enjoyed dramatic cloud cover.
Under the pier – one of my favorite spots.
What a good looking couple.
One of my favorites.
Hawt!
The sun was starting to leave us.
And a beautiful ring.
Doesn’t Jordan have the coolest mohawk?!
This one is definitely my fave.
The lovely couple one more time.

Over the last number of years, Marietta and I have become close friends. LOVE HER!
We have kids the same age which makes for lots of play dates, fun outings and easy babysit swapping.
Check out that beautiful baby bump!
Jake and Marietta live on an amazing property… this is the front gate to their driveway.
The photo shoot happened to be on Olivia’s 2nd birthday. Happy birthday, Olivia. What a doll!
We can’t forget Jack. I have no idea what kind of dog he is because I just don’t remember that kind of thing. But Jack is adorable with kids.
And Olivia loves to boss Jack.
That baby is already getting lots of kisses.
That perfect belly again! The necklace is designed by KV Bijou.

I can’t think of a better way to celebrate a one-year-old’s birthday than to give him a beautiful blue-iced cake covered in polka dots…
and let him inspect it…
and watch the mischievous grin at the discovery that it is for him…
I love this one! Fists full of cake.
Can you say sugar?
Oh wait, that piece on the floor looks so good.
When all the tasting is done, there’s only one thing left to do.
Lay in it.
Happy 1st birthday Lucas!

One of my favorite things is seeing the finished product. Whether it’s an album or print, I love the tangible aspect – to be able to touch and feel it. These albums are beautiful with their super thick pages. I love Katherine & Matt’s choice on the cover material the white snakeskin.
And because at the time of the wedding, I wasn’t blogging yet, here are some photos from the wedding.
-
Hé Karin, so good to hear from you! You have a blog as well! Zulk mooi werk! ‘k Blijf je volgen, groetjes uit Nederland
