Post #47 of personal project 52 weeks.
* Pajama day week. First Noah, then me, then Mattias. We were a mess. Mattias got hit the hardest. With a fever that lasted 4 days. I let them eat sitting on the table.
* Making a card for Opa’s birthday.
* Lego-man.
* The weeds are taking over. The rain is relentless and we haven’t been able to get into the garden and weed it.
* Sick week means napping again. Oh this is such a hard habit to break.
* Digging in the blocks.
* Puzzles are one of my favorite activities to do with Noah right now.
We met at my favorite location: Aldergrove Lake Park Bowl. Every time I think I’ve seen it all there, I discover something new. Check out the wild lupins growing right at the entrance. There was also a steady hum of bee activity in the lupins. Henry and Kim had no problem standing right in the middle of all those bees while I bravely snapped photos from a distance.
This beautiful and fun couple and had me laughing a lot. They will be celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary this summer and it’s clear that they are still so much in love. On to the photos!
What a good looking couple.
I really love this one. So romantic.

Gorgeous session! I was eyeing those gorgeous purple flowers last week when we were there and then we ran out of light, you used them perfectly. Such a good-looking couple…Happy anniversary to them! I can’t get over how much she reminds me of her mom, who was my grade 1 teacher 🙂

beautiful!!! i just love, love, love when couples take the opportunity to have pictures taken together- minus the kids. Forget the stress of worrying about what THEY are going to do and just enjoy the moment with your spouse. They are gorgeous and you have some beautiful captures!!

I LOVE these!
It was a beautiful sunny evening. We headed out to Crescent Beach. Sheree has been talking about getting family photos done since Carson was about 1 year. Or at least that’s the first time I remember hearing about it. She’s a planner. I must admit, I love a planner. Look at their perfectly coordinated outfits. And buckets. And blanket. Plus it was a fun outing for the kids.
I was thrilled that she picked me out of all the talented photographers out there. It might sound cliche or corny but I feel privileged to be asked to photograph a family, a wedding, a birth or a newborn.
I love the movement of everyone on the hill.
So loving this family photo.
The kids were having a blast digging in the sand and looking for shells and crabs.
Still a young girl but growing up so fast.
We also flew some kites.
Will and Sheree are sorta good looking.
The boys.
The girls.
Thanks for looking!!!

Post #46 of personal project 52 weeks.
* Four-year-old toes.
* I found this book of Lego at Costco in the US. Everyone that comes over is invited to look at the book with him. His favorite people to share the book with are Oma L., Uncle Brian and dad.
* He basically studies the book. And loves to hear about the sets that Art’s family had growing up. He’ll say “when I was your age, we had this set.” And “…but we never had that one”.
* He still makes the chewing noises when he enjoys his food, or when he’s very tired and eating.
* I love how this keepsake album turned out for a client. So pretty!
* Mattias looking out the window.
* If I don’t make sure I close the dishwasher right away, he crawls right in it.

Well I might be a bit biased but whose the cutie in the album?;)
Dad - Nice photograph, Noah napping on Mom’s shoulder.
