It’s always great to see old friends and hanging out with Tim and Petra was no exception.

After a couple of messages back and forth, we decided to go for it despite the overcast and almost-going-to-rain weather. Again Crescent Beach does not disappoint.

In early August, we headed out on a camping trip with good friends of ours. They live in Edmonton. We live here, so we don’t have a chance to see each other very often. But what a great trip: lots of sun, beach, kite flying, digging in the sand, roasting hot dogs and s’mores on the beach. Oh and shopping. Denise and I may have shopped 3 nights in a row at Fred Meyer. I don’t get out much.

Back to this family. They are close to our hearts. I loved how Noah and Madison played and bickered and played and bickered and played. I loved how Noah and Katherine developed this cute little bond like they understood each other. It was fun to catch up and really hang out for an extended period of time! Love you guys!
