First week of June » Family Photographer Aldergrove

Post #1 of Personal Project 52 weeks. This is going to be somewhat of a personal project. I love the idea of personal projects but often flounder on the execution. I’m an idea person. My idea is this: every week I’d like to document with photos our daily life. My format will be 1 square…

  • leona - Love this blog idea Karin! here’s hoping that you’ll have the 52 pages you want in a year! You describing Noah reminded me so much of Cody at age 3: lego, cars and trains! It’s a fun age, enjoy πŸ™‚ And that strawberry looks delish πŸ˜€ReplyCancel

  • Sheree - What A great idea!! I might copy you, haha. Jealous of your strawberries, we haven’t got any red ones yet. I also love saturday breakfast together, although soccer and the new church have really made our saturdays busy πŸ™ can’t wait till both are done!ReplyCancel

  • Sarah - Very cool! I love this idea and may have to steal it!ReplyCancel

  • tanya - I love everything about this!!ReplyCancel

  • Lindsay - Love it! I feel the same way about our life. It’s simple, yet full of beauty and so many blessings. It’s great to document those kinds of memories, the simple pleasures that make up our lives.
PS. Love your gardern – how cute and fun is that!ReplyCancel

  • Maggie - What a great idea! I need a way to do something like this… I’m such a perfectionist though that I want to go back and start at the beginning, like when Emma was born! Haha, 4 1/2 years ago… well, no time like the present I guess! Beautiful pics.ReplyCancel

  • What August Looked Like » Langley Lifestyle Family Photographer » Karin Louwerse Photography - […] completing the 52 week Personal Project in 2011, people immediately asked if I would do another personal project. Say what? I barely finished this […]ReplyCancel

  • Nicole - Great photos once again Karin. I have the same question as Kendra …. where’s the location? Or is that a secret? πŸ™‚ReplyCancel

    • Karin - Thanks everyone for the comments! The ‘secret’ location is at Aldergrove Lake Park. What a fabulous location for photos and a 5 minute drive away! If you’re familiar with Aldergrove Lake but don’t recognize this location, it’s because it is on the East entrance, called the Bowl, right next to the dog park.

Meet Sandro. What a handsome little guy. And 7-month old Alessia. And the two of them sharing some hugs. Too cute! When Stephanie told me that she had a radio flyer wagon, I was delighted! I keep on checking craigslist for one but they are snatched up so quickly and often still quite pricey. (Almost)…
