I love summer. And evening sessions. And family. A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing another Louwerse family! We first went out for dinner. My kids were a bit of a gong show. Sadly, their dining out experience is going to remain limited to MickeyDee’s. Then we headed out to Crescent…

Post #13 of Personal Project 52 weeks. Weekly post. A day late. Again. Sometimes you just have to put family first. And work. And house. And other commitments. * Mattias loves to lay his weary head on pillows. Often accompanied by “nigh-nigh”. He sure is letting himself be known lately. He has a loud strong…

once again….great pics! I smiled about the forts, just today the kids had quilts and blankets all over the playroom building forts for themselves and all the animal stuffies…Noah was in there like a dirty shirt! Good to see the progress on Art’s hands…small steps hey 🙂 And Mattias…what a cutie!
-
Such good photos. Again. Who cares if you’re a day late? 🙂
Where’d your inlaws buy??? -
Art’s hand looks good … but there sure is a difference, though better then what could have been I guess. I love the last picture of Mattias, he is so cute! Yes, forts are always so much fun and can be such a big job to clean up … but I guess if it keeps him busy!

I LOVE those frames!! Great photos!

Excellent idea! Next time I’m back in the lower mainland I’ll be making an appointment for a photo shoot.

Post #12 of Personal Project 52 weeks. * Noah loves to jump of the couch. Ten times or one hundred times per day. He really thinks his moves are spectacular. We cheer him on but really there’s not much air. Pretty much a straight drop to the ground. * Blanket. This blanket was knit for…

Hey, I think that cake looks delicious! 🙂 love the grasshopper story – so cute!
-
Love the story of Noah and the grasshopper! What a great memory to capture and record.
-
Love it! Ya, when one of my kids ‘lost’ their stuffed animal in a store I think I was more worried then they were … I’m nostalgic ’bout their baby items too, means their growing up without asking! I think the cake looks really good … and I don’t even like black forest!

Oh Karin. I laughed out loud at your first picture/comment – it made my day 🙂 Sounds just like J.

Post #11 of Personal Project 52 weeks. * Car line-ups. A boy thing. A 3-year old thing. Or 2-year old thing (because that’s when it began). The line-ups are getting more and more elaborate. Sometimes even arranged by color. Often all facing the same direction… except the grader because he always thinks the back is…

love it, once again! noah’s car line ups are awesome!

Tuesday was terrible, I wish I had more advice or encouragement to send your way…”this too shall pass…” is all I can muster 🙂 And Lucas is starting up on the car line ups, he’s at about 3 or 4 cars 🙂
-
I still love your posts. I sure could never do them once a week! I would love to do something like this once a month, either way, it’s a great way of documenting the little things in life.

I LOVE the shot with Mattias laughing! Beautiful!
Ya, the potty training thing is highly overrated eh?! LOL! And don’t count nights … it will come on it’s own. One day you will look back and laugh …. one day! -
love the car lineups on the table – it’s something that will pass before you know it, and then you’ll look at the photo and remember. hope that this week goes better on the potty front – it IS very hard! 🙂
-
Beautiful…
The top right photo is just gorgeous.. -
LOVE the car lineup!! Joel did the exact same thing, in fact it’s ALL he did. We just needed his bucket of cars and he was happy. I used cars to potty train him too. I bought a 24 pack of cars and every time he pooped in the potty he got a new car. Worked for him but every kid is different too. Hope it gets better for you!!

Love the pics of boys….beautiful shots in great moments. I’ll say it again…the tears are not worth it Karin! I’m coming from experience with my son, it will happen in due time! (I know, easier said than done) Hang in there!
