Post #26 of Personal Project 52 weeks.<\/em><\/p>\n

I knew it would happen. The execution portion of the project. Strong start, slow finish. I don\u2019t actually know what happened to the \u201cThird week of November\u201d. I suspect when looking at the time stamp of my photos that Post #24 should actually have been Post #24 and #25. Somewhere along the way something was mixed up. Let\u2019s not dwell on it, okay?<\/p>\n

\"Langley<\/p>\n

* A rescue from the office of the Windmill Herald<\/a>. My parents have some of the coolest retro things in their home and my dad at his office. Think chandeliers. Purple shag carpet. 1950s danish modern teak furniture. Old typewriters. Old suitcases. Don\u2019t even get me started on \u201cthe archives\u201d filled with old newspapers and magazines. And all the wonderful organizational cubby\u2019s for managing these collectibles. Of course, they don\u2019t know it\u2019s cool. I only spotted this one because Art was bringing a load to the dump for them. I don\u2019t know what to do with this beauty yet. What it will be purposed for. At minimum it could serve as a garage for Noah\u2019s cars. If we had a large enough closet, it would become a perfect organizer for ties, belts and such. Or it could function in my office as an organizer for crafting stuff (only to be ripped apart by my 3 1\/2 year old and in a couple of months by my 1 1\/2 year old when he figures out how to climb on my desk\u2026 total toddler magnet or maybe just my toddlers). It would serve as a lovely display for a collection. I don\u2019t collect. Although I could start. It runs in the family, you know. Collecting.<\/p>\n

* Mattias started his week with mucus and medication. As I write this (over 3 weeks later) he is still infected. And me too. A self-portrait of us hanging out on Sunday morning while the other 2 are at church.<\/p>\n

* On a bright sun-filled day in the winter, the light in our house makes me so happy.<\/p>\n

* We are not a hockey family. Stop wincing. I\u2019m not saying it won\u2019t come with time. Or that we won\u2019t give our boys opportunity to love it. I\u2019m just saying that we\u2019re not hockey nuts right now. However, Noah is starting to comprehend that hockey is a big part of many boys lives. So he begs to play hockey. But his favorite part is coming inside for hot cocoa with marshmallows.<\/p>\n

* It snowed and we were all delighted.<\/p>\n

* There is something so cozy about the kids playing on our bed.\u00c2\u00a0 Tias calls it \u201cnigh nigh\u201d and lunges himself out of my arms onto the bed whenever he sees it. He precariously teeters at the edge of the bed while trying to peer out the window or see himself in our mirror. He\u2019s never fallen off, but I prefer not to watch\u2026 knowing that I can\u2019t save him if he were to fall.<\/p>\n

* A relatively new development. Chewing on his shirt. Hopefully it is short-lived.<\/p>\n
