Last week we traveled to Edmonton to visit my in-laws\u2026 okay, technically St. Albert.<\/p>\n

A friend from our prenatal class also moved out there last year and we had kept in touch. Our boys are the same age. One week apart. We booked a photo session for while I was out there.<\/p>\n

Colleen, you look fabulous. And your daughter is adorable!<\/p>\n

There\u2019s definitely something to that whole three degrees of separation theory.<\/p>\n

I had used the Google streetview feature to familiarize myself with their neighbourhood. (oh how I love technology). And when I showed the house to my husband, he told me that the previous owners were friends of the family. Good friends. Go on road trips together kind of friends.<\/p>\n

This little corner of their home was fabulous with light. And BRRRR it was cold that day!<\/p>\n

Life with 2 kids. Undeniably chaotic and so much fun. (\u2026As all those with more than 2 kids snicker).<\/p>\n

Jessica is motoring! And at the time of the session, almost walking.<\/p>\n

\"Edmonton<\/p>\n

Then we headed outside. Not joking. Cold. -17.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve observed that absolutely everyone in Edmonton has a thermometer.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the little man, Jack. He is such a darling. It is really too bad that we don\u2019t live closer Colleen, because I could see some good playdates.<\/p>\n

And the whole family by the gorgeous tree\u2026 that still has leaves!<\/p>\n

The kids were done. I mean freezing! But I\u2019m so glad we got some of the 2 of you.<\/p>\n
