Chirp. Chirp. That\u2019s right. For the last 3 months, there was nothing but the sound of crickets on this blog.<\/p>\n<p>I took a bit of a break for Christmas and I expected January to be pretty low key as well. Then we found out that I was pregnant! For about 2 weeks I basked in the knowledge that there was this little being growing inside of me and then the <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">morning<\/span> all-day sickness hit me. About 6 weeks ago, I emerged from the nausea and have slowly regained my energy to take on all the things I used to do. It feels SO good to be back.<\/p>\n<p>Back to Chris and Niki. They are expecting their first baby in April. A boy! We hung out on Saturday morning to capture the beauty of pregnancy. It was a very wet week and cold and Chris navigated us through the mud. This is their amazing property. Huge.
