And the timing could not be better because on Saturday and Sunday we celebrated Oma\u2019s 88th birthday in the great outdoors. Mom and Dad treated us all to a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shorelinetours.net\/Shoreline_Tours\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">tour of Harrison Lake<\/a>. After some gorgeous sun and scenery and \u2018gezelligheid\u2019, we headed to nearby <a href=\"http:\/\/www.env.gov.bc.ca\/bcparks\/explore\/parkpgs\/sasquatch\/\" target=\"_blank\">Green Point Beach<\/a> for a barbecue. It had been 6 years since we had an official family photo taken. 6 years. The Louwerse clan has grown a lot in 6 years. Doubled actually. Mom really wanted an updated photo and with Oma here, there would not be a better time.<\/p>\n<p>Family photos are stressful to plan. Extended family photos even more so. To all the families I photograph, I feel your pain. Finding the right combination of colors among such a large group is not easy. Thanks to everyone and their efforts to co-ordinate. Some spent a lot of time shopping as well\u2026 you look fabulous! I love the bright colors, the dark background, the smiles and the memories.
